Course Description:

A superbly entertaining challenge to golfers of all levels, Bowring Park Golf Club is set in the grounds of what once the residency of the Bowring Family. The estate was developed into a Municipal Park and Golf Course in 1913, making Bowring Park the oldest municipal course in England. The course straddles either side if the M62, although the clever parkland design disguises this fact.

The course consists of par 3 and par 4 holes, with a par 5 currently under construction, which presents a rich variety of challenges for high and low handicap players. The contoured fairways, bunkers and water hazards will punish any wayward shots, and beware of the subtle contours of the greens. You need to think your way around this course. This excellent par 70 course is extremely popular due to its superbly manicured greens, fairways and tees, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
