Course Description:

The course at Newbold Comyn Golf Course was established from ridge and furrow farmland in 1973. Since then, the golf course has developed into one of the finest municipal courses in the Midlands. Newbold Comyn Golf Club is suitable for golfers of all standards and ages. The Course is an 18 hole par 70, 6,315 yards off the Men's tees. The course is well matured for it's age, with established woodland and copses throughout.

The Tee shot on the 1st poses a real test to even the most competent of golfers: with a stream running across the middle and down the right hand side of the hole, and a huge oak tree positioned smack in the middle of the fairway, it ensures an accurate tee shot is essential if you aim to reach the green in two. The shortest par 5 on the course is undoubtedly the most unique: the 6th has a huge 'ravine' in the fairway - this can lead to some very interesting approach shots! At 476 yards, the undulating fairway makes this relatively straightforward-looking par 5 an exciting and enjoyable hole to play.

If you're a complete beginner interested in learning to play golf, or an experienced golfer wishing to "fine tune" your chipping and putting, the two resident professionals at Newbold Comyn will be on hand to provide excellent tuition. David Playdon and Andy Hicks have fantastic golfing CVs and are perfectly placed to offer teaching on all aspects of the game. Facilities at Newbold Comyn Golf Club also include pitch and putt area, practice area and Bar. Located approximately one mile from the historic town of Royal Leamington Spa, the course offers extensive views over the town and surrounding areas. Newbold Comyn is managed by Mack Golf, who pride themselves on offering affordable golf in a relaxed atmosphere on quality golf courses.
